Pick an account name (3–16 characters) — that name is your game login.
Choose a password (8–16 characters), confirm it, and solve the little math question.
E-mail is optional. Your account works immediately — Wrath of the Lich King
is enabled by default (level 80, Northrend, Death Knights).
2Get the client
The Ghosts Launcher downloads the complete WoW 3.3.5a client (build 12340)
straight from this server, verifies every file by sha256, writes
realmlist.wtf for you and starts the game — with resume support,
so a dropped connection continues where it left off. On first run it asks
where to install and fetches the HD graphics pack automatically
(untick the HD box to keep the original look). Pick your platform:
Download the launcher for your operating system (a ±24 MB file).
Run it and choose where to install the client — an existing client is
detected and pre-filled, or browse to any folder and click
Download & install.
When it says Ready to play, hit ▶ Play. No realmlist editing,
no archives, no hassle.
Linux / macOS: the launcher starts the game through Wine —
install it first (sudo apt install wine on Debian/Ubuntu, or
brew install --cask wine-stable on macOS). On Windows nothing extra is
needed. Already have a client from an earlier era? The launcher verifies matching
files and skips them; existing vanilla (1.12) or TBC (2.4.3) installs are patched up
to 3.3.5a automatically.
This realm runs Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a (build 12340).
The bottom-left corner of the login screen must read 3.3.5a (12340) — a
Cataclysm 4.3.4 or Mists client cannot connect here. The launcher verifies the build
before starting the game.

Unpack it anywhere, follow the steps below, and let the Ghosts Launcher fill in anything
that is missing (the HD graphics pack and the server's client patch are unaffected).
The launcher does this for you. To do it by hand:
Open Data\enUS\ (or enGB, deDE,
frFR — whichever language folder you have).
Open realmlist.wtf in Notepad and make it read exactly:
set realmlist 212.28.185.14
Also set the realmlist.wtf in the main game folder the same way.
Empty the Cache folder if the realm list looks stale, then start
Wow.exe and log in with your account name.
Pick the realm Ghosts WotLK and create your character.
Old-school login: this realm uses the classic account-name login
— the same way it worked in 2010. No Battle.net e-mail, no certificate install,
no hosts-file edits.

Riding, including flying, is granted automatically — no mount trainer,
no gold.
Heirloom sets scale from level 1 to 80 and are mailed to your characters.
The quest tracker is enabled by default — your active quests show on screen
and on the minimap.
Accounts can only be created on the registration page
or by an in-game GM using account create.

The Cataclysm realm was retired when the server moved back to
Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a. The Cataclysm 4.3.4 client (build 15595) no longer
connects to this server — use the launcher above, which fetches the current 3.3.5a
client. Accounts are not carried over automatically —
register an account (you can reuse your old e-mail).
